Ethics is the branch of philosophy which deals with moral aspect of human behaviors, medical ethics deals with the moral principle which should guide the members of the medical profession in their dealings with cach other, their patient and the Ethical behaviors is a self imposed duty upon each doctor. A doctor should not criticize or denigrate the professional ability of another doctor while dealing with a. In 1874, the American Medical association was formed in order to established definite code of ‘medical ethics because no Govt. laws established the medical regulation. Nowa days, there is a universal medical ethics or code of medical practice which are similar to the universal ethics. In 1948, an intemational medical conference was held in Geneva which adopted a declaration for oath to be taken by all the registered practitioners. It was accepted at the assembly of world medical association held in London in October, 12, 1949, now a day, this is the basis of all intemationally accepted of medical In applying and advancing scientific knowledge, Medical practice and associated technologies, ‘human vulnerability should be taken into account. Individuals and groups of special vulnerability should be protected and the personal integrity of such individuals. In our country, Bangladesh Medical and Dental Councils a statutory body who adopted an ethical code for the registered Medical Practitioners.
